Welcome to Mrs. Blackman's Music Room
I am currently in my 6th year of teaching general music and I am so excited for the 2011-2012 school year! I hope that your student(s) learns many new things about music and has fun while learning. My love for music can be contagious!
RULES
I have 5 simple rules for the students to follow:
1) Enter the room quietly
2) Handle music with care
3) Raise hand to talk
4) Listen and follow directions
5) Be respectful
Discipline
I follow the 3 strike discipline policy:
1 strike- Student will talk with me out in the hall
2 strikes- Teacher will talk to the parent(s)
3 strikes- Student/Teacher will talk to the principal
Concert Attendance
Every student is required to attend their grade level concert which happens once every school year. A student may be excused ONLY if I have communication with their parent or guardian.
